The Patrol Division operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is responsible for responding to emergency and routine calls for service on campus. Their primary responsibility is the protection of life and property on campus, creating a safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. All 麻豆社 officers are sworn law enforcement officers, certified according to the Georgia Peace Officers Standards and Training Council. This certification ensures that officers are fully equipped to carry out their duties, which include conducting preliminary investigations of reported crimes, traffic enforcement, and offering assistance to the campus community in various situations. Each uniformed officer undergoes a minimum of 20 hours of in-service training annually, covering a range of critical topics such as crisis intervention, sexual assault response, de-escalation techniques, CPR, and more. This ongoing training enhances our officers’ ability to enforce the law, support the community, and effectively handle diverse situations that may arise on campus.
