About the Community Outreach & Crime Prevention Division:
The Community Outreach and Crime Prevention Division is dedicated to fostering a safe and secure environment by engaging with the community, building trust, and implementing proactive crime prevention strategies. This unit works closely with students, campus organizations, and local organizations to educate the public on crime reduction techniques, personal safety, and campus security.
Key responsibilities include:

Conducting crime prevention workshops, safety seminars, and educational programs.

Collaborating with campus organizations to address safety concerns.

Providing resources on burglary/theft prevention, fraud awareness, and emergency preparedness.

Strengthening police-community relationships through outreach events, student engagement, and public forums.
By working in partnership with the community, the Community Outreach and Crime Prevention Division strives to enhance public safety, reduce crime, and promote a culture of trust and cooperation between law enforcement and citizens.
